CLIENT DELIVERY · SOUNDTRACK REVISION

Replace music in client videos without rebuilding the edit.

THE DIRECT ANSWER

Can I swap music without losing the narration?

When a client supplies only a finished video, first request the original project or a music-free master. If neither is available, try separating the old music from the mixed audio, then check narration and important effects before adding a licensed replacement. Adjust its timing, volume and fades in the existing Replace Music tool and compare the final mix. AI cannot guarantee an untouched voice or complete removal of the old track. Preview your actual source before choosing full-file processing.

BEFORE EDITING CLIENT FOOTAGE

Agree on what must stay.

  • Confirm permission to process and republish the source.
  • Request the project or music-free master first.
  • Keep a copy of the supplied export.
  • Agree on delivery format, channels and essential effects.

A SOUNDTRACK CHANGE IS NOT A NEW PICTURE EDIT

Protect the approved cut.

A different tempo can change how existing edits feel. Check musical accents against cuts and product actions. The tool changes audio; it does not automatically recut the video to a new beat.

FROM FEEDBACK TO FINAL DELIVERY

Separate first. Mix second. Review last.

  1. 01

    Test the old music removal

Choose the difficult overlap in the existing Replace Music workspace. Listen to narration alone before adding a new bed.

  2. 02

    Choose an authorized soundtrack

Add your MP3, WAV or M4A music. Check the usage rights for this client’s channels; no music library or license is included.

  3. 03

    Set timing, volume and fades

Compare the original with the final mix. Leave room for the voice and listen for old-music residue clashing with the new track.

  4. 04

    Approve the delivered file

Check sync, sentence endings and product effects. Keep the original source and download your completed result while it is available.

PRODUCT & UGC REVISIONS

A new music bed for a product video.

For an authorized product demo, check spoken product names, button clicks, packaging sounds and any actions timed to the old beat. Keep the same picture, but review whether the new track still fits the approved cuts. For vertical UGC, also check the actual publishing format and client music rights.

Each aspect-ratio version is a separate source file. You can use eligible minutes across individual jobs; there is no one-click batch queue or automatic multi-format delivery. Check each version on its own before sending it for client approval.

Try different music on an approved product clip.

PROFESSIONAL DELIVERY CHECKLIST

Listen beyond the new song.

  • Words, names and breaths remain understandable.
  • Important scene or product effects still make sense.
  • No old-music clash, abrupt fades or volume jumps.
  • Beginning and end remain synchronized to picture.
  • The file plays in the client’s intended environment.
  • The soundtrack license covers this delivery.

Choose after the preview.

Eligible balances apply to supported individual jobs. Local music edits can reuse an available matching separation. A new source or goal can require a new job; check the estimate first.

Compare one-time and monthly options. No subscription is required just to try an available free preview.

Check what happens to ambient sounds before covering the separated track with music.

LICENSED CONTROLLED MIX · THREE STAGES

Hear the separation before the new soundtrack.

Delivery: 10.03s MP3Processing: Historical music separation, then local remixSource/result review: UTC

This 10-second controlled mix uses dialogue and dramatic synth music from Cosmos Laundromat. First compare the original with the separated voice. Then hear the same separation with Cipher as a replacement bed. This is licensed film-source audio, not a customer project or a product advertisement.

Check the exposed voice first. New music can hide old-music residue or voice artifacts. It cannot restore missing words. Compare the pauses and word endings before judging the final mix; this source does not prove sound-effects retention on your footage.

Sources, processing and music permissions

Cosmos Laundromat - Blender Studio, CC BY 4.0, via ODAQ by Torcoli et al. Replacement music: Cipher by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), CC BY 4.0. Changes: excerpts, controlled mixing, AAC source preparation, historical SAM Audio music separation, whole-track level correction, local music mixing with fades and MP3 encoding. Controlled film-source example, not a customer or product project. No endorsement implied.

The separated result is from a historical SAM Audio run targeting music; its exact model revision is not pinned. One whole-track gain adjustment brings the separated dialogue approximately toward the reference level, followed by a shared peak-safe master gain for all three versions. No clean dialogue track was substituted. The final bed is mixed locally with fades; it does not repeat AI separation.

QUESTIONS FOR THIS PROJECT

Before you commit to a full export.

Can I change the music if I only have the final MP4?

Try separating the old music, then add a track you have permission to use. Review the separated narration and effects before mixing. Dense overlap can leave old music or damage the sound you wanted to keep.

Will my client’s voiceover remain intact?

The workflow aims to keep narration while reducing music, but cannot guarantee the original voice track. Listen for names, word endings, breaths and changes in voice texture before exporting.

Can I try several replacement tracks without another AI job?

When the matching separation result remains available, music selection, volume, timing, looping and fades happen locally. Changing the source or processing goal can require a new AI job. The tool verifies reuse and shows any charge before processing.

Can I use commercial music in the new video?

Use music licensed for the client’s publication channels and territories. Swapping the soundtrack does not grant rights to any source material or guarantee that a platform will remove a copyright claim.

Can one minute pack cover several client videos?

Eligible minutes can be used across supported individual jobs. Confirm the balance and quoted charge for each source. This is separate-file processing, not one-click batch upload or a shared team workspace.
