Which one-time option fits my file?+
After a successful preview, eligible files up to 120 seconds can use Single Video for $2.99 USD through Stripe. It covers one full processing result for the verified file, not a transferable minute balance. For longer files or multiple clips, Quick Fix includes 10 minutes for $4.99 USD and Creator Minutes includes 50 minutes for $19.99 USD. These are one-time purchases, not subscriptions; the tool confirms eligibility before checkout.
How do the free preview and paid validity work?+
Choose up to 15 seconds from your file for the free preview; shorter files use their full length. Free previews are subject to daily personal and site-budget limits. Unused purchases remain valid for 12 months without renewal. Minute-pack processing is charged to the next whole second, not the next whole minute. A preview is not the full export.
What if processing or local video export fails?+
Confirmed technical processing failures restore the reserved entitlement without extending its original expiry. If Single Video audio processing succeeds but local video assembly fails, retry assembly with the same original file and existing audio result within its 24-hour availability window, without another AI job. The original video cannot automatically follow you to another device. Completely unused purchases may be refunded within seven calendar days; quality varies, so judge the preview before buying. See the Terms for the full rules.
Does my video upload to a server?+
No. For MP4 files, the video stays on your device. Your browser extracts the audio and sends only that audio to the processing API.
Can I listen before paying?+
Yes. Choose a free 15-second section of your own file, once per day and subject to the site-wide daily free budget. Paid minute packs include 30-second previews that do not consume processing minutes. We reuse the same file and preview time range while its result remains available, for up to 24 hours.
How are processing minutes used?+
Each full file uses its duration rounded up to the next whole second. A 2:12 file uses 2 minutes 12 seconds. You can split a pack across as many files as your minute balance allows; there is no separate export-count limit.
Is this a subscription?+
No. Quick Fix and Creator Minutes are one-time purchases with no recurring bill. Both remain available for twelve months.
Will it keep sound effects and ambience?+
That is the intended result: identify music, then keep the residual track containing voice, ambience and important effects. Overlapping sounds can still produce artifacts, so your own preview is the honest test.
Can I reduce music instead of removing it?+
Yes. Choose Remove for the strongest music reduction, or Reduce to mix a quiet amount of the separated music back under the preserved voice and effects.
Which files can I use?+
Choose MP3 or WAV audio up to 100 MB, or MP4 video up to 500 MB and 10 minutes long.
Do I need an account?+
Not for the free preview. Continue with Google only when you want to purchase, track, and download a full export.
Does it work on mobile?+
You can open the site and choose a file on mobile, but large media files are more reliable on a current desktop browser.
How long are uploaded files kept?+
Result access through this service is available for up to 24 hours. We request 24-hour automatic expiration for audio uploads and generated audio at fal.ai. The provider manages physical deletion; this service does not independently confirm its completion. Download results promptly. We do not keep a server copy of your original video. A completed MP4 may be held only in that browser for up to 24 hours. Clearing site data, closing a private session, browser storage eviction, or using another browser or device can remove the local copy.
